THE DUB APPROACH

A good Dub mix isn't just about putting an echo on the vocal.

I'll listen to the song as a whole and find opportunities to strip it back, emphasise the rhythm section, highlight individual instruments and create space for the effects to become part of the music.

The result should feel like a genuine Dub version of your record — not simply the original mix with effects added.

MY EXPERIENCE

I've worked extensively in Reggae, Ska and Dub as a producer, recording artist, musician, mixing and mastering engineer.
